When she got down stairs she saw a young boy about her age and an older woman standing with him. "Yes mother, you called me?" she asked though she knew the answer.
"Yes Fira and I have been calling you for awhile now. I need you to get your dress done and now we have more things to deal with." said Elle.
The lady said, "It is okay we can go find another place to stay for the night if you can just help us with some directions."
"That's nonsense we are pleased to have guest here. May I ask your names?" asked Elle.
"I'm Sarah and this is my son, Tommy." said Sarah.
"Nice to meet you ma'am, "said Fira.
"No need for the ma'am uh....I'm sorry I haven't got your name," replied Sarah.
"I'm Queen Elle and this is my daughter Princess Fira," said Elle before her daughter could speak. Sarah's and Tommy's eyes widen because they had no clue they were in the house of royalty.
Tommy speaking for the first time said, "You're a queen and princess?"
Fira answered, "Yes we are, sorry if we shocked you by not telling you at first."
"It's no problem, not a problem at all," Sarah replied.
"I can show you to rooms that you can stay in," she told Sarah and Tommy. Then to her mother, "You can finish working with the party." She quickly got out of the room with Sarah and Tommy. She led Sarah to a room first and left her to explore the room.
As she led Tommy to a room he asked, "Just wondering but what party is your mom going crazy over?"
"My birthday party. If you're still in the area in three days you can come, besides I'm not going to know many people there anyways." she replied not caring that he was asking beside she needed to get more nice guys at her party.
When she got to the room and she was about to leave Tommy asked, "If you don't mind would you stay and talk to me, I haven't had anyone around to talk to, besides my mother, in a while." Fira smiled and closed the door and sat on the bed next to Tommy.
"Okay beside I would rather talk to someone then do any thing having to deal with this party." Fira said.
"Sounds to me like you wouldn't even go if you had the choice," Tommy said this and then looked at Fira and saw the sad look on her face and quickly added, "Sorry I didn't mean to be rude I was just..."
"No, I didn't find it rude it's just that you saw this after barely meeting me and even my mother can't even see this. Would you like to know why I don't want to go?" she looked up at Tommy for an answer, he nodded, so she continued, "Well the main reason is that at my party my mother and father are making me choose who I want to marry and...."
Tommy stood up and walked away from the bed a bit and turned back to Fira. "WHAT!! BUT YOU'RE ONLY...wait how old are you?" he asked.
Fira replied, "I'm turning 18 in three days."
"Really? Man and I thought you were only like turning 16,"said Tommy.
"Thanks you make me sound young," she said to Tommy as he sat down.
Tommy said looking shocked, "But you are young," then he added softly," and beautiful if you don't mind me saying."
"What did you just say? If I heard you right you just said you are blind," she said in shock.
Tommy said, "No I said that you are beautiful."
"Yup you must be blind." she said.
Then Tommy said getting what she was saying, "Don't you think you're beautiful?" Fira shook her head. "Well you are," he said standing up.
Fira stood up as well and went to leave and Tommy walked with her to the door.
Right before she left she said, "Thank-you, you have made my day," and she flashed Tommy a smile and took off down the hall to her sister's room. On her way, she hoped that she had found what she was looking for. Once inside hers sister's room she said, "Fikia he's great."
"What are you talking about? Plus why do you look all dazed?" asked Fikia.
Fira just said, "I'm talking about Tommy."
Her sister asked, "Who's Tommy?"
"Oh ya you haven't met him. He's the human boy in the palace and...."she stopped in shock at her sister's face. "What's wrong with you?"
Her sister asked in shock, "You said he was human, you mean he doesn't have any powers? You can't think that, that plan in your head is going to work."
"First off it was the plan in your head and so I don't care that he doesn't have any powers plus that is just as far as I know I'm not sure we just barely talked," Fira said.
"Wait you mean that you're going to say you want to marry a person who you just met that has no powers?" her sister questioned.
"Exactly," stated Fira.
Fikia face lit up, "It's perfect, and mother and father will be so shocked."
"Knew you would think so, "Fira said and continued to look dazed.
"Now I want the answer to the question to that dazed look," Fikia told her sister.
"What dazed look?" Fira said knowing the answer. She looked at her sister who had knew that her sister had known the answer to that question. Fira seeing her sister's face said, "I guess it's over Tommy. He said something to me that has me in the state I am in now."
"What did he say to you? "Fikia asked
Fira smiled and said, "He said I was beautiful."
"He said what?! "Fikia asked in shock though they both knew she had heard.
"I said that he said I was beautiful and you know that you heard me. When I said he was great I meant it."
"Fira, Fikia, oh there you are your mother said its time for dinner, oh and Fira which rooms did you put the guest in," asked Flora.
Fira replied, "Tell mother we will be down in a minute and we will get the guest."Flora hurried out the room and Fira and Fikia started walking down the hall to Tommy's room.
